We reach out to children with the love of Christ, pointing them in Christ's direction and guiding them in His ways.

We believe that spiritual development can and should begin from the earliest age with parents as the primary nurturers of their children’s faith.

We want to come alongside the parents of children to whom we minister at each age-level to help them lay a spiritual foundation that, in His timing, will lead their child into a personal relationship with Christ. With this in mind, our resources support both the church and home with a focus on knowing God personally, igniting a passion for Christ, and cultivating a concern for people’s needs in the community and around the world.

We provide a fun and safe environment where children in grades K-5 are loved through Christ and learn what it means to love Him. We minister by reflecting Jesus to children and teaching them how they can worship and follow Him all the days of their lives. We want our children to know how much they are loved by God, that God is there for them each day and that God has a great plan for their life as they learn His Word and what it means to honor Him in all they do.

The children's department is broken down into age groups to best meet the needs of our children.

Sunday school 9:45 am

Children have an amazing ability to understand Biblical truth and apply it to their lives. During the elementary years, children have a great interest in spiritual things: Who is God? What is heaven like? How does God talk to me? We use this natural God-given interest to lay a spiritual foundation for children.

We use creative ways to equip your child in:
1. Understand the Bible, its truth and life application
2. Memorizing God's Word
3. Worship
4. Developing a life of prayer
5. Serving others and missions
6. The importance of Christian fellowship
7. Learning to make wise choices

When children graduate from the children's department, at Ridgeview, and move on to the youth department, they will leave with the 4 S':

Scripture - A working knowledge of Scripture and a Biblical
     worldview
Salvation - A clear understanding of the Gospel and their
     eternal standing
Spirit - Knowledge of and participation in listening prayer
(the guidance of the Holy Spirit)
Service - A sense of purpose and calling as well as a value
     for serving others
